Description

Let’s talk about something that keeps way too many high-achieving women stuck in the cycle of missing periods: "clean" eating. In this episode, I am breaking down why this seemingly “healthy” mindset can actually stall your recovery- and what it might be disguising underneath the surface.

I also want to be super clear: I do advocate for a whole food approach to recovery- but there’s a huge difference between that and the restrictive, fear-driven version of “clean” eating that keeps your body in stress mode. This episode is all about helping you spot that difference and start shifting toward nourishment that’s actually supportive, not performative.

I cover:

- What clean eating really looks like in disguise

- The overlap between clean eating and orthorexia

- My personal experience with falling into this trap (and getting out of it)

- Why this mindset blocks physical and mental healing

- Why I still encourage a whole food–based approach, but how that’s totally different from restriction

- Tangible steps to start loosening your food rules today

If you have been afraid to let go of your food control because you are clinging to the idea of being “clean” or “disciplined,” this episode is your permission slip to start unlearning that and begin trusting your body again.
